Paralegal Carolyn Powell

Carolyn is originally from southern West Virginia.  She received her Bachelor of Science from Concord University in Business Administration.  Being a military spouse, she has lived and worked all over the country.  The military is what brought her family to North Carolina and where they chose to stay after retirement.  Carolyn received her Associates of Applied Science in Paralegal Studies from Coastal Carolina Community College.  Prior to moving into the Elder Law and Estate Planning section, she worked in the Workers’ Comp section assisting injured workers with their claims. Carolyn has been a North Carolina Certified Paralegal for more than thirteen years.  Outside of work, she enjoys time with her family, exploring nature, camping, and reading.
